COLUMBIA — The Missouri men's basketball team defeated Iowa State 65-56 on Wednesday night in front of 11,760 at Mizzou Arena.
The
Tigers shot poorly and played subpar defense all night, failing to get
the home crowd involved in the game. Iowa State played with just eight
scholarship players, but Missouri didn't take advantage of its depth
and let the Cyclones hang around until the final two minutes. Not until
Kim English made a 3-pointer with 1:45 left was the game in hand for
the Tigers, who move to 18-6 (6-3 Big 12) with the win.

J.T. Tiller led Missouri with 17 points, his strongest offensive
performance of the season.
