COLUMBIA— The United Way has named E. Leigh Voltmer as community partnership director, according to a news release from the organization.
In the past, Voltmer was a State of Missouri Health Program representative with the state Office of Administration and the executive director for Comprehensive Human Services, Inc.
"Leigh comes to (Heart of Missouri United Way) as a proven, dynamic leader in health and human service programming in our community. We are delighted to have her join our staff," said Tim Rich, executive director of Heart of Missouri United Way.
The new position focuses on strengthening relationships with partner agencies and coordinates volunteer driven program funding.
Voltmer will start the new position on Feb. 24.
