Former Missouri football player Danario Alexander has knee surgery

COLUMBIA — Former Missouri wide receiver Danario Alexander has had more surgery on his knee, this time as he awaits the NFL draft.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Friday that Alexander had surgery on his left knee earlier this week and will not participate in next week's NFL scouting combine. The newspaper reported that Alexander injured his knee during a Senior Bowl practice last month in Mobile, Ala.
