MU students provide lawn mower service

COLUMBIA — Students in the MU Agricultural Systems Management Club will clean and tune up homeowners’ lawn mowers in time for spring lawn care.

For $30, students will sharpen the blade, change the oil, power wash the mowers, clean air filters and replace the spark plug. If any shop labor is required, there will be an additional $30 per hour charge.

The money will support field trips and other activities within the club.

All mowers must be in working order and no riding mowers will be accepted.

Drop off:

  • 7 to 9 a.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.
  • March 11 and 12
  • East end of Agricultural Engineering Building, at the corner of Rollins Street and East Campus Drive

Pick up:

  • 7 to 9 a.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.
  • March 15 and 16
  • Same location as drop off
