Announcement for new Rock Bridge principal expected Monday

COLUMBIA — A new principal for Rock Bridge High School could be announced Monday.
Superintendent Chris Belcher said Friday he hopes to have a decision made by Monday. More meetings are being held today to finalize the decision among three finalists. Belcher would not say who the finalists are but did mention that two currently work in the school district.

Current Rock Bridge principal Kathy Ritter plans to retire at the end of the school year. She has been the principal since fall 2007 and was an assistant principal there for about 15 years before that.
