Missouri's Sean Weatherspoon runs a drill at the NFL Scouting Combine Monday.

Former Missouri linebacker Sean Weatherspoon impressed scouts during Day 3 of the NFL scouting combine on Monday in Indianapolis.

Weatherspoon, who is aiming to be drafted in the first round of April's NFL Draft, had 34 reps at 225 pounds in the bench press, which was second best among linebackers. He finished the 40-yard dash in 4.68 seconds, which was ninth best among linebackers.

In an interview with NFL.com, Weatherspoon said, "It went pretty well. I was excited when I came out here. Being around the top guys in the country, it brings the best out of you."
