The Missouri men's basketball team lost 77-56 to rival Kansas on Saturday afternoon at Mizzou Arena.
Missouri led 17-10 midway through the first half but then lost all
momentum, and the Jayhawks finished the half on a 30-7 run to lead by
16.
The Tigers erased most of the lead quickly in the second half, cutting
it to four points with 13 minutes left to play. But Kansas responded
with a 17-2 run in the next five minutes and coasted to its 29th win of
the season.
Despite forcing 19 Kansas turnovers, Missouri played sloppily and
out-of-sync for much of the game. Missouri finishes the regular season
22-9 and 10-6 in the Big 12.
