WEATHERFORD — The members of the Kahler family who were killed last November will not be forgotten.

The citizens of Weatherford, Texas, a community were the Kahlers once lived, will hold a blood drive in their names.

The blood drive will be held March 27 to April 1 in Weatherford.

The Kahlers lived in Weatherford before moving to Columbia in 2008.

Karen Kahler, 44, and daughters Emily, 18, and Lauren, 16, were killed in their grandmother's home in Burlingame, Kan., last November. James Kraig Kahler, 46, the former director of Columbia Water and Light, was charged with their deaths.
