You are probably aware, regardless of whether you would like to be, about the current push to live more environmentally friendly.
The blue recycle bins and "don't litter" signs are everyday reminders to take care of our planet. We are constantly bombarded with warnings about global climate change, rising sea levels and endangered species. It is worrisome, but who has the time to do anything about it? And if we did, would it even make a difference?
For some, "going green" might mean a complete lifestyle change. They might switch to solar energy, install a geothermal heating system or grow their own food. But for many of us, our life situations simply won't allow for such drastic changes. So what can we do?
Fortunately, there are multiple small changes we can make in our every day lives that will not only help us to "go green," but might also help us to save a little green, and yes, I mean greenbacks.
