COLUMBIA — One suspect was arrested in connection with a shooting at Waffle House on March 11. Columbia Police are still searching for a second suspect.
According to a news release from police, Ronsanto Cole, 21, was identified as the driver of a 2001 white Honda Accord from which suspected shooter Anthony Tunstall fired. Police are still searching for Tunstall, and there is a warrant out for his arrest with a $100,000 cash-only bond for unlawful use of a weapon.
Witnesses called police to report shots fired at approximately 2 a.m. on March 11 in the Waffle House parking lot at 904 Vandiver Drive.
Cole's address is 1857 Orie Drive N., according to the most recent release.
Cole was arrested for one count of unlawful use of a weapon. His bond has not been set. He is being held in the Boone County Jail, according to a news release.
Police encouraged residents to contact CrimeStoppers, 875-8477, with any information about Tunstall's location.
