BUFFALO, N.Y. — Missing a handful of layups and failing to grab rebounds at the most crucial moments, the Missouri men's basketball team lost 68-59 to West Virginia in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday afternoon at HSBC Arena.
The loss ends the season for the Tigers, who finish at 23-11.
Missouri kept the score close throughout the game and had plenty of chances but shot under 33 percent for the game.
Kim English fought back tears as Missouri and West Virginia players shook hands after the game.
