COLUMBIA — A man forced his way into an east Columbia home and tied up the occupant late Wednesday, police said.
That evening, a woman heard banging on the rear door of her Talon Road home. Shortly after, a man dressed in black entered her home with a gun, said Officer Jessie Haden, a spokeswoman for the Columbia Police Department.
After asking for money, he tied her hands behind her. While the man was still in the home, the woman freed her hands and fled to a neighbor’s home.
As of Monday, police still didn’t know if anything had been stolen.
