As residents of the Third Ward, we are strong supporters of Karl Skala. He has demonstrated the kind of dedication and thoughtful approach to city government that we value. He is readily accessible to his constituents and responsive to our concerns. His participation and certification in the National League of Cities training enable him to contribute fresh ideas and demonstrate his long-term commitment to improving our city and advancing the kind of sustainable (smart growth) development that has been the hallmark of Columbia's greatness. Unlike his opponent, he has not resorted to negative campaigning and distorting of the facts. He has not been subsidized by those who support development for development's sake regardless of its impact on the community and the environment. Karl Skala will work to benefit all the people of Columbia, not just special interests. Please join us in voting for him on April 6.
