I recall when the city first obtained the place and the Maplewood Barn Theatre was just a notion being tossed around. Years later would be the first date with my future wife, and then countless plays and events we watched in the years that followed. This place was a definite asset to Columbia. I hope the folks in Columbia can arrange to build a better barn, with outdoor theatre and maybe a nice floor for a barn dance!
