Washington, Foristell ban so-called synthetic marijuana

WASHINGTON, Mo. — The eastern Missouri towns of Washington and Foristell have passed laws making it illegal to possess or sell products containing the so-called synthetic marijuana.
St. Charles city and county have also banned the product marketed under names such as "K2," ''Spice" and "Summit." State lawmakers are considering a statewide ban.

The Washington Missourian reported that a few weeks ago, police investigated after a woman was hospitalized after smoking some of the product and taking a drug.
