The Hickman girls track team walked off the track with five second-place finishes Thursday at the Springfield Invitational hosted by Glendale.
Sarah Hall threw 40-feet in the shot put and Galit Rudelson reached the 9-feet six-inch mark in pole vault. Jamela Kimbaugh, Justina Olisah, Taalor Stevenson and Nasia Stevenson placed second in the 4x200-meter relay. This same squad finished third in the 4x400-meter relay.
Nasia Stevenson also placed second in the 400-meter dash in 61 seconds. Kimbaugh, Victoria Jackson, Corey Potter and Darriana Wilson ran the 4x100-meter relay and placed third. Jackson also placed third in the long jump with a mark of 16 feet, ten inches. Nicole Mello ran a 5:22 mile, which earned her third place.
The Kewpies performed well against the 10 other southwest Missouri schools that attended the meet. Competitors included Jefferson City, Springfield, Rolla and Parkview. Team scores were not kept at this meet.
