Memorial to be held in honor of former Stephens College president

COLUMBIA­ – Stephens College will hold a memorial service for its former President Patsy Sampson at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 17.

Sampson died Nov. 24 in Albuquerque, N.M. She was 77.

Sampson, who was president from 1983 to 1994, was the college’s first female president.

The service will be held in the Firestone Baars Chapel on the Stephens College campus.
