COLUMBIA — All but three emergency phones along the MKT Trail are out of service.
During repair work on bridges 12 and 13 of the MKT Trail, a tree limb broke a telephone cable that serves the emergency phones, Columbia Parks and Recreation spokeswoman Tammy Miller said.
"CenturyLink is working on it right now. They are trying to get it fixed as soon as possible," Miller said, though she was uncertain when they would be repaired.
Working phones are located at the trail access at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Garden trail access, north of the garden at Stadium Boulevard and at the Flat Branch Park trailhead.
