KANSAS CITY — A 25-year-old Best Buy employee near Kansas City has been suspended from his job after posting snarky online videos poking fun at zealots of the iPhone and the Evo phone.
Brian Maupin has been selling phones at Best Buy in Independence, Mo., since 2007. He was suspended from his job Thursday and expects to be fired by Monday for posting two YouTube videos that slam fans of Apple Inc.'s iPhone 4 and HTC Corp.'s Evo 4G.
Those videos don't mention Best Buy, which sells both phones. Best Buy hasn't returned calls seeking comment.
The first video aimed at iPhone zealots has so far gotten more than 1.6 million views. The video targeting Evo buyers had racked up nearly 340,000 views.

So, the video is entertaining, but did anyone at the Missourian watch this before embedding it? Just wondering, because the language is fairly obscene.
Nathan,
I agree with you that the language is obscene. We've removed the video from our site, but we left a link to it for readers who want to access it for themselves. As noted above, it does contain quite a few profanities that readers may find offensive.
