COLUMBIA — Gregory W. Morton was sentenced to 19 years on Tuesday afternoon in Boone County Court.
Morton admitted to shooting Mitchell W. Kemp on Aug. 24, 2004. He testified against Tausha Fields during her trial in exchange for a plea bargain and a reduced charge of second-degree murder.
