Columbia offers cool places to escape the heat

Boone County is expected to see a heat index as high as 107 on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Recognizing the dangers of extreme heat, Columbia has the following cooling centers available to its residents.

These locations will operate during each of the facility's regular business hours:
