ST. LOUIS — Talk about getting a marriage off on the right foot.
Robert Russell surprised 30-year-old Tracie Rogers of Ballwin, his bride-to-be, with an early wedding gift on July 6 — a Missouri Lottery Scratchers ticket.
The ticket turned out to be a $250,000 winner.
The couple plans to use the money to pay off a house. Rogers says that will be one less burden they'll have to contend with as they begin married life.
