“I’m totally disgusted with the direction this country has been led,” he said. “I’m just so disgusted with the debt and the socialization of this entire country.”
He said he hasn't always been this pessimistic. His dismay began when President Barack Obama took office.
“I believe he’s a racist and a bigot,” he said. “I believe he’s out to destroy the middle class.”
He said his main goals are to stir job growth and cap spending.
“The only way to create jobs is to cut taxes across the board,” Praprotnik said.
Praprotnik said he knows it won't be easy to decide which programs get cut, but he said there are plenty of financially draining programs out there.
He suggests cutting programs that contribute to foreign aid and argues that pulling out of the United Nations would benefit the U.S.
"They’re just a bunch of countries full of dictators who don’t believe in our system of government,” he said. “I am running for U.S. Senate because I believe that freedom is being destroyed and the Constitution is being ignored completely by the Obama administration.”
