Rhythmic sounds infiltrated Flat Branch Park on Wednesday evening during Family Fun Fest: Dancing in the Streets.

Columbia Parks and Recreation presented the event, which featured live performances in the gazebo by a number of dance groups. Other family entertainment included face painting, a balloon artist and safety demonstrations by the Columbia Fire Department.

Always free, Family Fun Fests are held on the third Wednesday of every month until October. The next event will be Family Fun Fest: Around the World on Aug. 18.
