"Missouri needs help given to its business now," Laszacs said. "There should be no other work done in Washington until this is successful."
He also wants to reform the education system, expand renewable fuel standards and build a functional health care system.
Laszacs said he believes that removing constricting regulations surrounding education is the best way to reform the system.
"Most mandated control factors need to be broadened to allow latitude for interjection of learning strategies that provide students with knowledge gained from the experience of learning," he said, "even when the teaching technique is not measurable by government mandated assessment goals."
Renewable fuels are key in helping Missouri's economy, Laszacs said.
"Community-based energy development will ensure our power stays locally owned and is the best way ahead for our farmers and our rural communities," he said.
