Local couple makes finals of NBC 'Today Show' wedding competition

COLUMBIA — Wedding bells will ring on live television in New York City for a Columbia couple if they win NBC Today Show’s Modern Wedding contest.
Melissa McMillin, 21, and Jeremy Gebhardt, 22, were announced as finalists Monday. They contend with three other couples for the chance to have their wedding planned by viewers and paid for by the Today Show.
