Columbia gets stimulus funding to weatherize homes

JEFFERSON CITY — Missouri is receiving $550,000 in federal funds to help weatherize homes.
The money will go to Central Missouri Community Action in Columbia. The federal money will allow the agency to install geothermal heating systems in homes.
The weatherization program is part of the federal stimulus package.

@Laura Johnston you might talk to Columbia College as I think they just upgraded their Geo Thermal System to a Hybrid System. Geo Thermal though is not cheap.
