COLUMBIA — One woman is still hospitalized after a accident Saturday evening on Interstate 70.
Benjamin F. Biehl, 60, and passenger, Alicia G. Biehl, 60, were westbound on I-70 just east of U.S. 40 when their vehicle collided with a 1991 Bluebird bus driven by Brian D. Ferrell of Columbia, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report. Biehl was driving a 2001 Harley-Davidson.
After hitting the bus, which was moving slower than the minimum speed limit, Benjamin and Alicia Biehl, both of Boonville, were ejected from the motorcycle, the accident report stated. All three individuals were transported to University Hospital by ambulance.
Ferrell, 39, and Benjamin Biehl, 60, were treated and released from the hospital; Alicia Biehl, 60, is still being treated at the hospital and is in fair condition, Bridgett Robbins of University Hospital said.
