Artists need to fill out and return the entry form to the Columbia Art League by 5 p.m. Oct 2.
The show accepts nominations for nine categories, including professional and non-professional paintings and drawings, ceramics and sculptures.
An out-of-town judge will determine first, second and third places for each category. First-place winners will get $100; second-place winners $50; and third-place winners $25.
The show attracts about 250 entries per year, said Mary Wilkerson, senior vice president of marketing at Boone County National Bank. The show accepts every artwork entered but typically exhibits 200 of the 250 entries.
“It’s nice for people who do not make their living as artists,” Wilkerson said, adding that there is no fee to enter the show.
Contestants can drop off entries from 6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 8 in the lobby of Boone County National Bank, 720 E. Broadway.
