COLUMBIA — The Hickman boys soccer team defeated Kansas City-East 8-0 on Thursday at Hickman.
“I think we’ve really improved from last week. I’m happy as long as we’re getting better week by week,” Hickman coach Adam Taylor said.
Connor Hollrah scored twice and Brian Willcox, Chris McCoy, Spencer Miller, Taylor Ray, Alex Holliday and Nathan Wikle all had single goals for Hickman (7-2-1).
“We had so many opportunities that I would’ve liked to see go in,” Taylor said. “We missed a few here and there, but at least we are getting these opportunities.”
The Kewpies play next on Thursday against Smith-Cotton High School in Sedalia.
