JEFFERSON CITY — Missouri's Senate candidates have agreed to two debates next month.
Republican Roy Blunt and Democrat Robin Carnahan are scheduled to attend a forum sponsored by Kansas City Public Television on Oct. 14.
Blunt is a congressman from southwestern Missouri, and Carnahan is the secretary of state. They are competing to replace retiring Republican Sen. Kit Bond.
The candidates also agreed to debate at an Oct. 15 forum sponsored by the Missouri Press Association. That debate will be at a resort near the Lake of the Ozarks.

Little Miss Muffet is going to debate the Frog Prince - twice. How droll.
And we get to decide which fairy tale to believe.
The one about Little Miss Muffet being nothing more than a cow farmer or the one about the Frog Prince being a stock market tycoon.
You don't have to hold your nose to vote for Libertarian Jonathan Dine...
@John:
I'll donate twenty bucks to his campaign if that's his campaign slogan and you get me the bumper sticker.
Now that's change I can believe in!
Ray, good idea, I'll pass that along to Jonathan. I know he was ordering some stickers and signs recently, but I like the little slogan I came up with (why no, I'm not biased).
