The Missouri men’s golf team finished seventh in the Fighting Irish Gridiron Classic on Tuesday in South Bend, Ind.
The Tigers shot a 288 in the final round with a three-round total of 877. Iowa won with a 853.
Missouri sophomore Jace Long tied for fourth in the tournament, shooting a 71 Tuesday to finish at 211.
Other notable performances came from sophomore Stuart Ballingall (217 to tie for 17th), junior Nick Wilson (221 to tie for 27th) and senior William Harrold (229 to tie for 64th).
Missouri plays next at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate on Oct. 15 to 17 in Jonesborough, Tenn.
