COLUMBIA — The Rock Bridge soccer team defeated host Hickman 1-0 Wednesday.
Junior Kory McDonald, a defender for the Bruins, scored the winning goal at the 52-minute mark of the second half.

The Bruins (10-4) play next on Saturday at Hazelwood West. The Kewpies (8-3-1) will play in the Gateway City Soccer Classic on Friday in Maryland Heights*. They face a team from Lexington, Ky.
