Ean Rice, 2, points to a Halloween costume as his mother, Regina Rice, continues to look through the selection at the Mers Goodwill store on Nifong Bouldevard in Columbia. Although Halloween is close, Goodwill restocks its racks with a selection of both new and used costumes at prices far below what might be found in a traditional retail store.

Hi,
My family and I moved here only a couple of weeks ago from central Ohio. My three kids keep asking when Trick or Treat night is. I keep checking the websites of KOMU and KMIZ, as well as The Tribune, and find nothing. Does this mean trick or treating doesn't exist in Missouri? Can someone please let me know so I can tell my kids.
Per a spokesperson at CPD, this Sunday after dinner, is the time for neighborhood door-to-door knocking and candy gathering.
(This makes sense as last year Halloween night fell on a Saturday.)

By the way, Stephanie, if you come across a home that's dropping dogs and puppies into the kids' bags, instead of candy, it might be because they're concerned that Proposition B will limit how many they'll be allowed to keep.
(We've got to get rid of inventory somehow.)
Vote Yes to kids having fun Trick or Treating.
Vote No on Proposition B.
@Ray Shapiro
Are you kidding me you sure have a way of turning every artical into your own propiganda board. STOP! You have made your oponion clear I want to vote yes at this point just because of you and your crap!
@lacinda florez:
Trick or Treat...go smell my feet.

I can't believe it. I just can't believe it.
I was just told that even Oprah has gotten into the act.
Just today, on her show, it was "You get a Puppy! And, you get a Puppy! And you get a Puppy! Everyone in our audience today gets a Puppy!"
Who needs car dealerships or Kennels when we have Oprah.
Trick or Treat?
@Ray Shapiro,
I really don't like you. I just thank god I don't know you, because if I had to sit and have a face to face with you I maight become violent!
She gave all puppy mill puppies????? No way!!!!! Ahhh!! I love puppy mill puppies!!!!! I even let my kids play with them!
