After it was announced that MU would be hosting ESPN's weekly College GameDay program on Saturday, university and community members have been rushing to prepare for the big day.
But there is still one unknown left to wait until Saturday: Who will be the celebrity guest picker this week?
Typically, the guest picker isn't announced until the day of the show's broadcast, and the celebrity picker is oftentimes a prominent athlete or personality associated with the host university.
MU and Columbia have their fair share of celebrities from various fields, such as singer Sheryl Crow, who studied education at the university, and NASCAR driver Carl Edwards, a Columbia native.
But it could be anyone. Maybe the show will choose Brad Pitt as the celebrity guest, who was a journalism student at MU before leaving to pursue his acting career. Or maybe former quarterback Chase Daniel, who now plays for the New Orleans Saints, will be invited back to his old stomping grounds.
Who should be the celebrity guest picker for College GameDay this week?
