Just as I suspected, the HICKS ruined it for the people that actually matter.
Funny how those HICKS provide "for the people that actually matter".
Hmm, so hicks don't matter in your eyes Louis? I'm continually amazed at the attitude of some of our local "progressives."
I'd sooner spend my leisure time drinking at one of the Boone county roadhouses (with guys with Skoal cans in their hip pockets and gun racks in their pick up trucks) than in the company of a bunch of "intellectuals." Since I once hung out with folks from United Mine Workers of America and United Steel Workers of America I may be predisposed to blue collar settings.
With the good old boys, one meets a better class of people. :)

I so agree with this. For example, when I'm driving in the country and get hungry, I simply head for the county seat, drive around the courthouse, and look for a bunch of pickup trucks.
Farmers won't tolerate a poor meal. Friendlier, cheaper, more, and better food.
