PrintNEW YORK — Another loss meant Missouri dropped in the college football polls for the second consecutive week.
The Tigers, losers of two-straight, went from No. 14 to No. 20 in The Associated Press and USA Today Coaches' polls. In the BCS standings, released Sunday night, Missouri dropped from No. 12 to No. 17, one spot behind Oklahoma.

Texas Christian University's impressive victory over the weekend not only lifted the Horned Frogs to No. 3 in The Associated Press poll, it caused Auburn to move up behind top-ranked Oregon and Boise State to fall two spots to No. 4.
But in the BCS standings, TCU's best chance to catch Oregon and Auburn came and went, and the Horned Frogs are still chasing the top two.
TCU closed the gap on the first-place Ducks and second-place Tigers, and widened its advantage on fourth-place Boise State on Sunday, a day after a resounding 47-7 victory at previously unbeaten Utah.
"The bottom line is that they put themselves on a different plateau," TCU coach Gary Patterson said of his team after the win over Utah. "They have to finish the season and we can only control what we can control. But I thought they made a statement. Everybody else in the country, when they go into someone else's house in a big game, they usually end up getting beat."
In the AP poll, LSU is No. 5, up seven spots, and the highest ranked team with one loss after the Tigers beat Alabama 24-21 on Saturday. The Crimson Tide fell six spots to No. 11. The Southeastern Conference led all leagues with seven teams in the Top 25.
No. 6 Wisconsin, Stanford, Ohio State, Nebraska and Michigan State rounded out the AP's top 10.
