Johnson & Wales University defeated Stephens College 90-73 on Saturday night during the Midwest Maui Classic in Leavenworth, Kan.
Junior Megan Sheffield led the Stars with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Senior Cara Leis added 15 points with 4 assists and was named to the all-tournament team.
The Stars are 0-2 for the season.
