The goal of No-Shave November is to not shave your facial hair during the month, and then compare your beard with your friends' and colleagues' for ultimate bragging rights. The benefits of growing a No Shave November beard is saving time in the day and money on shaving products. The event even has a following of more than 27,000 fans on Facebook.
No-Shave November has also been used as a tool to test the endurance and patience that comes with growing a beard. The group of males that complete No-Shave November are known as the few that survived the torment and ridicule of growing the beard.
