Missouri men's basketball team wins second straight over Illinois

ST. LOUIS — The Missouri men’s basketball team defeated Illinois 75-64 Wednesday at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis. Missouri claimed the Braggin’ Rights game for the second year in a row.
Laurence Bowers made a layup with 31 seconds left to put Missouri in front 64-61, giving Missouri the edge in the game that had stayed close the entire night.

Marcus Denmon led Missouri with Missouri with 15 points. Bowers added 13 points and nine rebounds for the Tigers. Mike Davis led Illinois with 17 points.
