Missouri men's basketball team defeats Nebraska

COLUMBIA — The Missouri men's basketball team never trailed in a 77-69 victory over Nebraska on Wednesday night at Mizzou Arena.
Junior guard Marcus Denmon led the No. 15 Tigers with 27 points, including nine of Missouri's first 13. Laurence Bowers, who had an impressive first-half dunk, had 12 points, seven rebounds and two blocks, and Ricardo Ratliffe also scored 12 while grabbing six rebounds and making four blocks.

Missouri led 36-28 at halftime, but Nebraska closed Missouri's lead to 44-41 early in the second half. After four free throws and a layup by Denmon, Missouri (15-2) was able to get back out to a nine-point lead.
Toney McCray led Nebraska (13-3) with 17 points.
