The records: The Local Area Unemployment Statistics program prepares monthly unemployment estimates for different geographical areas including states, Census regions, counties and cities with populations more than 25,000.
Why you'd want them: These statistics are indicators of local economic conditions. They are used to determine assistance eligibility and allocations at the federal level, and budgetary purposes at the state and local levels.
Where you get them: Go to http://www.missourieconomy.org/indicators/. From the drop down boxes, choose a year and a geographical area, such as Boone County.
How much will it cost: The information is free.

sadly the numbers are not really correct they are based on how many are getting unemployment pay, not the true unemployment . most have run out of bebefits so they are not counted in the big picture of these numbers. ...
