Missouri men's basketball defeats Iowa State

COLUMBIA — The Missouri men's basketball team defeated the Iowa State Cyclones 87-54 on Saturday night at Mizzou Arena. With the win, Missouri improves to 17-3 overall and 3-2 in Big 12 Conference play.
Sophomore guard Michael Dixon Jr. led No. 13 Missouri with 15 points, while junior guard Marcus Denmon added 13. Iowa State guard Darion 'Jake' Anderson led the Cyclones with 20 points.

Missouri jumped out to a big lead early in the game, and led at halftime 48-26. Missouri was able to clear its bench at the end of the game, and put in junior Jarrett Sutton, much to the fan's delight. Sutton made his only 3-point attempt on the night to bring the crowd at Mizzou Arena to its feet one final time.
