Mid-Missouri is currently being hit by a major snow storm. Forecasters are predicting 17 to 21 inches of snow to hit mid-Missouri through Wednesday.
Vox Magazine recently reported different ways to stay busy when one is snowed in. For example, the report says one can stock up on cuddly supplies, watch movies or order from a list of places that will deliver food and other essentials right to your doorstep.
Vox recommends several movies that involve snow: "Fargo," "Encounters at the End of the World," "The Ice Storm," "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" and "The Shining." There are also hundreds of movies available on services such as iTunes and NetFlix.
But movies are just one way to keep busy. Other options can include playing video games, reading, studying or even going outside and playing in the snow.
What are you doing to keep yourself occupied during the blizzard?

i am feeding birds. i have nine feeders going. I have gone through 20 lbs of seed in the last 24 hours.
Posting on the Missourian, but would entertain a motion for something else. We must be careful tho, a birth explosion like that of NYC (1977) during the electricity blackout of that time isn't an option, is it?

Feeding the birds and having my two siberian huskies pull me around in my sled!!!
Did a few crossword puzzles, started painting the bathroom, went out to walk a couple of miles and take pictures of the blizzard, shoveled twelve inches of precip from the drive (another inch had already fallen on the first row before I finished the last), talked to my Lady on the phone, went through all three of the original Star Wars episodes... perhaps to be repeated tomorrow? There are lots of things to do.
Fired up the '54 M-37, pulled a couple of cars out, met friends at Truman's, and came home pretty frozen after an hour on the roads in a truck with no heat or cab roof.
