Missouri judge upholds law on sexual businesses

KANSAS CITY — A Missouri judge has rejected a lawsuit over a state law placing new restrictions on sexually oriented businesses.

The state law bans full nudity and alcohol at strip clubs and adult stores. It also bars touching between semi-nude employees and customers and requires stores and clubs to close before midnight.

The law took effect in August. A coalition of stores and exotic dancers challenged the law, arguing it violated rights to speech and expression.

Cole County Circuit Judge Jon Beetem rejected the argument in a ruling issued last week.

The Kansas City Star reported today that an attorney for the group filing the lawsuit said he plans to appeal the ruling.

One more way the government imposes itself into your life, or the exact opposite of freedom. This man obviously has no business being on the bench in America.
