COLUMBIA — Warmer weather is on its way.
“Snow is out of the picture for the next week,” said Jim Kramper, a warning coordination meteorologist for the National Weather Service in St. Louis.
Temperatures in the 50s are expected in the daytime next week but will dip to freezing at night, according to the National Weather Service.
Hints of spring will be seen with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms Sunday.
“If we start getting thunderstorms, that’s a pretty good sign,” Kramper said.
