Missouri's Brown makes All-Big 12 Conference Second Team

COLUMBIA — Missouri's RaeShara Brown was named to the All-Big 12 Conference Second Team on Monday by the league's head coaches.
The senior guard is ninth in scoring in the conference with 16.8 points per game. She also ranks second in steals and minutes played. She is sixth in assists.

Brown is the first Missouri women's basketball player to make the first or second team since EeTisha Riddle made the first team in 2007.
During the season, Brown surpassed 1,000 career points and became MU's all-time steals leader.
Conference champion Baylor dominated the Big 12 awards. Three Bears made the first team. Additionally, center Brittney Griner, who averages 22.5 points per game, was named Big 12 Player of the year. Coach Kim Mulkey was named Big 12 Coach of the Year.
