Why you’d want them: Reports of schools violating NCAA rules and regulations seem to pop up often these days. The NCAA Division I Manual has the entire list of regulations that coaches, athletes, and teams are expected to adhere to. The manual is home to the body’s constitution, operating bylaws and administrative bylaws.

Where you get the records: Go to www.ncaapublications.com/p-4180-2010-2011-ncaa-division-i-manual.aspx, then click on the link that says "Download PDF."

How much it will cost: The information is free.
