TODAY'S QUESTION: What does Opening Day mean for you?

Thursday marked Opening Day for the baseball season — a day many fans and players look forward to all year.

"You always get a special kick on Opening Day, no matter how many you go through. You look forward to it like a birthday party when you're a kid. You think something wonderful is going to happen," baseball legend Joe DiMaggio once said.
In St. Louis, a procession of the traditional Budweiser Clydesdales and a motorcade of Cardinals Hall of Famers preceded "The Star-Spangled Banner," which was sung by Nikko Smith, and the first pitch by former Cardinal Jim Edmonds.

There is always something special about the first pitch of the season at Yankee Stadium. OK at Coors and Busch because of the beer. But what is there in KC other than steaks and The Plaza?
