COLUMBIA — The Boone County Sheriff's Department arrested a 25-year-old Boone County man Thursday evening in connection with a robbery at a convenience store, Sheriff's Department Detective Tom O'Sullivan said.
Tyson A. Bartlett, of 8608 E. Karen Lane, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree robbery and armed criminal action, O'Sullivan said.
Deputies responded to the report of a robbery on March 25 at the FastLane 66 convenience store on Roanoke Drive near the intersection of Route B and Highway HH north of Columbia, he said.
The convenience store clerk reported that two masked men demanded cash at gunpoint and then fled on foot, O'Sullivan said.
After seeing security surveillance photos, a citizen recognized Bartlett, he said.
Deputies were still looking for the second suspect, O'Sullivan said.
Bartlett was in Boone County Jail on Friday evening with a $100,000 bond, according to the Sheriff's Department website.
